“Bahia is the spot for Vegetarian Taco lovers. It's one of those places that you could totally miss because it's in a shopping center, but the moment you walk in you feel like you are at home or at least at your auntie's house. This place is immaculately clean, has fun traditional artwork, and a lively happy energy. It does not smell like gallons of fabuloso. I come here after I teach class typically on a tuesday, a wednesday, and/or a Friday and there are always people chatting the Owner Chef, enjoying the food and the welcoming atmosphere. The Owner chef and his wife treat you kindly and want you to get value for your money. They have at least 4 vegetarian options on their menu ranging from potato tacos to a gigante burrito, and all can be made vegan by taking off the cheese and sour cream. If you read my review about the joke tacos in Little Italy at Tiquanero, the contrast is striking. Everything is fresh at Bahia -guac so yummy has just the right texture, not watered down thin. I hope you have your Taco money and your appetite ready and will try Bahia this week - I'll be there for sure. I had Tacos de Papa (Potato Tacos) with my guacamole on the side, but not pictured. Without the tip everything came to $9.97 - incredible value and I left so full. I also recommend their hot carrots for just a few dollars more.”

“This is the San Diego Mexican Food you have been looking for my friend. The restaurant has a kind family feel to it. The kitchen is plainly visible when you order. There is a cold bar for salsas, there is frescas as well. The food is perfectly balanced. It is savory, perfect amount of fresh limes and fresh pico de gallo. The corn tortillas are fresh and it is the flavor of real corn. If you know you know. The service of the staff is apart of a World Peace Project. Hospitality is top notch.”

“I got a custom burrito with rice, beans, cheese, and pico. You get a proper full size tortilla and the food is fresh. With the blend of cilantro inside and salsas, you'll be in tasty heaven. Definitely will come back for the breakfast burrito.”
